Freedom Project was designed to address three major issues that add to the stigma around mental illness and prevent people from receiving the help they need.

    1

Education & Ensuring Access to Care

Although mental health parity is a law, there are still many people that are being denied healthcare for mental health issues. We wish to raise awareness.
    2

Calling for Improvements in Quality and Outcome

Not only can it be expensive to receive mental health services, but mental health care providers also lack the appropriate resources and tools to accurately assess patients.
    3

    Call to Action

We want to inform the community about laws and why we need the full implementation to protect mental health funds. Secondly, proposing early intervention mental health legislation and longevity solutions.
